If you live in a small crowded apartment or planning to get one, you are probably wondering how to use your living space to get maximum out of it, right? Take a look at this gorgeous small apartment and its modern interior design and see how to design a perfect living space.
The home you’re about to see is an amazing duplex apartment located in the De Waterkant, a sub-district of the suburb of Green Point in Cape Town, South Africa overlooking the Central Business District. If you’re still not familiar with their work, this interior design is work of SAOTA (Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects), very talented Cape Town-based architects and designers whose incredible modern homes are all over the South Africa. You will definitely see more of their work on interior design and architecture here on Architecture Beast since we are huge fans of SAOTA.
Anyway, why I loved this modern small apartment and its interior design is because of its elegance (like in this beautiful apartment in Singapore), style and innovative solutions which all combined together created incredibly comfortable and luxury looking living space. As architects from SAOTA stated: “Here, innovation meets true purpose as Adam Court, partner at OKHA Interiors, designed multi-use and bespoke furniture which can hide all the clutter accumulated in any home.
We have also used every opportunity to maximise clever storage space without compromising the design” commented Michele Rhoda, partner at Antoni Associates. The tables provide storage, the bookshelves act as an installation artwork. Additionally, the furniture was custom designed to fit in the available space, ensuring quiddity and circulation.”
Often, people in small apartments don’t even think about having a balcony, because everything is so crowded already and every inch of an apartment has to be used wisely. This interior design idea clearly shows easy solution to how to use minimalism and creative room arrangement to achieve desired design. What do you think?
