We have prepared this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”), in accordance to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), to explain to you how we collect, use, and share Anonymous Data and Personal Data (as defined under applicable law) we obtain through your use of websites, applications and online services (“Services”) that are operated by, controlled by or affiliated with 5th idea, including without limitation 5thidea.com and architecturebeast.com.

The terms “Architecture Beast”, “5th idea”, “we,” “our,” or “us” refer to, collectively, 5th idea, a corporation headquartered in Cakovec, Croatia. This Privacy Policy only covers information collected through the Services and via direct communications between you and 5th idea.

By using the Services, you:

  • consent to such collection, use and sharing of your Anonymous Data and Personal Data
  • agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy
  • declare your knowledge of such collection and processing

If you do not agree with the processing of your Personal Data, please do not provide us with your Personal Data via the architecturebeast.com or 5thidea.com websites.

If you don’t agree to the terms contained in this Privacy Policy, you must immediately exit the Service.

We will only process your Personal Data in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws. For the purposes of Croatian and EU data protection legislation, the data controller is 5th idea, Buzovecka 2, 40000 Cakovec, Croatia.

Information that you provide us

We collect Personal Data such as your name and email address, with your knowledge and consent through our contact forms and email newsletter subscription box.

The Services also include social media features, such as the Facebook Like button, and widgets such as a “share” button, or other interactive features. The personal information we collect is stored in United States where our servers are maintained. Data is processed in Croatia where we are headquartered and where we operate.

We only retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide a service, or to improve our services in future. While we retain this data, we will protect it within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. That said, we advise that no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and cannot guarantee absolute data security.

Only a limited number of 5th idea employees and contractors have access to your data, having signed confidentiality clauses to protect it.

While we maintains a secure site, you should know that computer use may be monitored by third parties such as network administrators, employers, internet providers, and operation system & internet browser vendors, and, thus, we cannot guarantee the security of information you post online. You disclose all information online at your own risk.

We share Anonymous Data, including Behaviour Data and aggregated user statistics, with third parties in order to use their services.

We use third-party services for:

  • Forms processing
  • Advertising and promotion
  • Email marketing
  • User engagement

These services may access our data solely for the purpose of performing specific tasks on our behalf. We do not share any personally identifying information with them. We do not give them permission to disclose or use any of our data for any other purpose.

The Services contain links to other websites that we do not control, and the Services contain videos, advertising and other content hosted and served by third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party.

 

Embedded content

Our websites may include embedded content from third parties like YouTube. Embedded content from third parties behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has used their service. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party.

We update this Privacy Policy from time to time in our discretion and will notify you of any material changes to the way in which we treat Personal Data, by posting a notice on relevant areas of the Services.

Any updated version of this Privacy Policy will be effective immediately upon the posting of the revised Privacy Policy unless otherwise specified.
