What is bulldozer?
When choosing a purchase from a variety of modern varieties of special equipment for various purposes, buying a bulldozer is a great idea, as it is one of the most versatile machines: both tracked and wheeled vehicles of this type are widely used in construction.
Both new and used bulldozers are attachments to a basic tracked or pneumatic wheeled tractor (two-axle wheeled tractor) that include a blade with knives, a pushing device in the form of bars or a frame, and a blade control system. Modern bulldozers are structurally similar machines, the basic tractors and attachments of which are widely unified. The main parameter of bulldozers is the traction class of the base tractor (tractor). Bulldozers in Europe are mainly used for layer-by-layer development and movement of soils of categories I-IV, as well as previously loosened rocky and frozen soils. With their help, they perform the planning of construction sites, the construction of embankments, the development of excavations and pits, cutting terraces on slopes, leveling the soil poured by other machines, digging trenches for foundations and communications, backfilling ditches, pits, trenches, pits and sinuses of building foundations, clearing territories from snow, stones, shrubs, stumps, small trees, construction debris, etc. The widespread use of bulldozers in the construction industry is determined by the simplicity of their design, reliability and economy in operation, high productivity, mobility and versatility.

Distribution of bulldozers by effort
Before you buy a bulldozer, it is advisable to consider their basic classification. Similar units according to tractive effort are divided into:
Small-sized. Their force does not exceed 0.6 tons. Used for light agricultural work.
Lungs. In this case, the traction force increases, but does not exceed 3 tons. Allows you to clear the site in the process of cleaning debris, snow, residual materials, repairs, and other utility work.
Medium. Here, traction forces rise to a maximum of 9 tons. Such a unit is designed to remove the top layer of soil 1 – 2 categories. As a rule, caterpillar tractors are used for these purposes.
Heavy. Here the force developed by the bulldozer can reach up to 35 tons. Earthworks with a bulldozer of this type are carried out on soils of 3-5 categories. Able to move frozen and rocky rocks. They are also used in the development of open pits.
Superheavy. This type of bulldozer has a pulling force in excess of 35 tons. It is used when working with rocks and rocks, as well as in the process of large-scale construction work.
Each type of technology listed can be applied to varying degrees in various fields of activity. Typically, construction bulldozers are required with light to medium effort.
